Easter Kinkell – 4th April

Today we moved out of this lovely old building which is in a great setting. The ceiling lines are interesting. To accomodate the dormer windows some parts are higher than others, some sloped and some level. I think tall people would learn very quickly to duck their heads in certain parts of the house.

Strathpeffer

Strathpeffer was very popular in Victorian times as a “Spa Town” and there are lots of very impressive buildings about the town. You can find plenty of information here: http://www.strathpeffer.org/content/brief-history

We enjoyed a short walk around a park where big trees had been carved into interesting sculptures.
